Liminal Depths
The halls don’t end. Your name might.

The game
Recover who you were. Escape what remains.
Liminal Depths is a 2D top-down pixel horror game about surviving an infinite maze of halls while piecing together a name you no longer have.
You run jobs from a powered safehouse, manage light and inventory, and learn the rules of what hunts you. It is not a walking sim. Recover your identity — then the Exit becomes available.
Procedural labyrinth
Streamed halls, rooms, and closets. Expeditions don’t repeat cleanly.
Hostile entities
Distinct rules — light, motion, proximity. Walker, Stalker, Shadow, Hall Giant. Learn the rule, or you don’t come back.
Safehouse loop
Generator, terminal jobs, upgrades. Leave, recover, and return from the dark.
Memory recovery
Identity fragments unlock the path out. Recover who you are, and the Exit becomes available.
Light & inventory
Battery, tools, and scarce resources matter. What you can see, you can act on.
Local co-op / split-screen
Play together locally. The halls are worse when you hear someone else breathe.

An independent solo project under Crooked Krown Studios. Private playtests are underway to lock the core loop.
The work is focused: readable systems, replayable spaces, and a clear end state. No jumpscare spam. No empty wandering.
